As many people know, lots of brands involve fast fashion which teens especially may see as a positive thing as they receive their goods quickly and to a standard quality. However it is slowly destroying our planet. Boohoo, PlT, Asos and specifically Shein are the most popular and most successful clothing brands well-known for their cheap, quick delivery and standard quality of clothes that are aimed at mostly teenagers and young adults who seem to love these brands.
Consequently, what people don't know is that these clothes are produced very quickly and worn a few times before being thrown away and then sent to a dumpsite in a poor country, where it sits for decades. This is contributing a considerable amount of damage to the environment and it's sadly ruining our beautiful earth. Fashion is meant to be a form of self expression; however, the only thing that we are now expressing is what damage we like doing to our Earth.
Fashion is changing all the time and whilst we still have a bit of time, we should stop our usage and slow down fast fashion! Teenagers especially should do their best to try and tackle this problem as this will be their future and their reality, we want generations do continue. Right?
